Senator Duncan requested that the reconsideration on CS FOR                    
SENATE BILL NO. 21(FIN) An Act relating to ferries and ferry                   
terminals, establishing the Alaska Marine Highway Authority, and               
relating to maintenance of state marine vessels; and providing for an          
effective date be taken up.                                                    
                                                                               
CS FOR SENATE BILL NO. 21(FIN) was before the Senate on                        
reconsideration.                                                               
                                                                               
The question to be reconsidered: Shall CS FOR SENATE BILL                      
NO. 21(FIN) An Act relating to ferries and ferry terminals,                    
establishing the Alaska Marine Highway Authority, and relating to              
maintenance of state marine vessels; and providing for an effective

Senator Taylor moved and asked unanimous consent that the vote on              
the passage of the bill be considered the vote on the effective date           
clauses.  Without objection, it was so ordered and the bill was
